VHS is looking for a qualified Physicians Assistant - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.

• City : Wausau
• State : WI
• Start Date : Pending Privileges
• End Date : TBD
• Description : Coverage needed : Daily 6am-6pm (end time varies) Weekend coverage 1 : 3. Would include rounding with surgeon, vein harvesting if needed, first assisting in OR if needed, procedures if needed and if skillset is there (A-line, central line, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement), seeing new consults if needed. Saturday and Sunday would include daily rounding with surgeon. Currently the CT surgeon takes all first calls (nights / weekends). During day hours the PA / NP would field some pages re : patient care. Saturday and Sunday after rounds / orders / notes are completed they can leave the hospital (in-house call is not required). They could get called back in during the night / weekend days for emergencies or for additional assistance with patients.
• 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
