Pay Range : $85,000 – $105,000 per year + Bonus Opportunities
Overview
Exciting new curated entertainment operator that emphasizes social, playful, and interactive experiences is coming to Irvine, CA! We are seeking a fun, professional and driven Business Development Manager to join the team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and expand market presence. This role will focus on building strong relationships with local businesses, hotels, event planners, and community groups while collaborating with internal teams to create tailored promotional opportunities. The Business Development Manager will also play a key role in monitoring competitor activity, generating leads, and ensuring consistent delivery of a client-focused sales experience. This is a Hybrid role, on-site & remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify Opportunities : Research and map potential partnership opportunities with local businesses, hotels, community groups, and event organizations.
- Build Relationships : Establish and maintain connections with key stakeholders to generate new business leads and long-term partnerships.
- Develop Collateral & Offers : Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design promotional packages and create impactful sales materials.
- Client Engagement : Organize walkthroughs, site visits, and presentations for prospective clients to showcase venue offerings.
- Feedback & Reporting : Collect and analyze guest and client feedback on venues, products, pricing, and services to inform continuous improvement.
- Market Analysis : Monitor competitor activity and market trends, adjusting focus to support growth strategies.
- Pipeline Management : Maintain an accurate database of prospects and provide timely reports on networking activity, partnership opportunities, and sales performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2–3 years of proven success in business development, sales, or partnerships.Strong sales track record, ideally within hospitality, entertainment, or customer-centric environments.Strong knowledge of market trends, local industry dynamics, and competitor landscapes.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Suite.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel as required.Personal Attributes
