Job Type : Full-Time, 4 days ON, 4 days OFF - Night shift - 6 : 00PM to 6 : 00AM

Location : Newport News, Virginia.

Activity : Industry, heavy machinery, automation. Technical assistance, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

What you develop :

Support client with the maintenance of APCO designed and manufactured machines including troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of specialized electrical , mechanical, and hydraulic systems / components.

What you bring :

5+ years of facilities / machine maintenance experience.

Associate degree or similar level of experience.

The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

A good understanding of electrical systems to include 480 volt and below including various control voltage.

Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure.

Strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Fast-thinking, pro-active and self-sufficient.

Attention to detail and quality.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
