Outpatient Center - Male and Female populationWork schedule : Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Certified Peer Specialists are responsible for :
Providing support to the criminal justice involved client both while in-custody and post releaseServing as a professional role model by demonstrating effective coping strategies, healthy behaviors, and appropriate use of recovery-support skills within scope of the position.Conducting group sessions and assisting clients with goals for recoveryConsulting with other treatment team membersProviding resources to assist with recovery and transitionTraveling throughout State to provide peer support services to clients in SUD treatmentOther duties as assignedJob Requirements :
Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) as required by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB) or the ability to obtain within required period of time.Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent requiredTherapeutic Community experience desiredCurrent driver’s license and good driving recordMust be able to obtain Missouri Department of Corrections clearancePhysical Requirements :
Ability to walk or move about facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients.Ability to speak with others in order to exchange information and provide support.Ability to proofread and check documents and files for accuracy on a regular basis.Ability to respond to telephones and pages, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises.Compensation (based on experience and credentials) :
