  • About You :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering , or equivalent engineering degree.
  • Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment (internships and co-ops welcome).
  • Foundational knowledge of :

  • Assembly and manufacturing processes Process documentation and routing Tooling and fixture design Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach .
  • Primary Objective :

  • Support Tolomatic’s assembly operations by developing, documenting, and implementing efficient manufacturing processes across multiple product lines.
  • This role provides hands-on engineering support to production teams, focusing on improving assembly line flow, resolving technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, and productivity.   Provide day-to-day technical support to assembly operations to ensure smooth production and on-time delivery.
  • Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Design and implement tools, fixtures, and workstations that improve assembly efficiency and ergonomics.
  • Support Manufacturing Project Engineers in the implementation of new products and processes.
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) to support new product introductions and ongoing production.
  • Collect and analyze production data to recommend cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives.
