Senior Underwriter, Oregon Licensed

A company is looking for a Sr Underwriter, Regional Accts to evaluate insurance risks and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and underwrite insurance risks primarily in the life and disability space

Build and maintain effective relationships with field personnel, producers, and policyholders

Provide mentoring and training to team members and participate in special projects

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of progressive experience in Employee Benefits underwriting (life and disability)

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Experience mentoring and identifying training needs

Comfortable evaluating complex cases and recommending process improvements
