The Assistant Vice President for Iredell Physician Network serves as the leader performing the managerial functions of building relationships with providers, practice staff, patients and families. The AVP directs areas of responsibility including Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, Cardiovascular, Pediatrics, Neurospine, Psychiatry, ENT, Urology, Pain Management, and Orthopedics. The AVP works lockstep with the Vice President and serves as an agent for Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and our Ambulatory Surgical Centers.
The AVP assists with the development and implementation of safety initiatives, clinical compliance and accreditation processes. Responsible for coordinating the network-wide quality improvement program and monitoring of "important functions" in accordance with agency requirements.
The AVP must master the art of building relationships with providers, practice managers, staff, patients and families within IPN. Additionally, the AVP serves as our liaison and representative to our collaborative practice partners, community organizations, healthcare providers always seeking to build a collegial healthcare network.
The AVP must also understand staffing needs, recruitment strategy, retention programs and provide a welcome and learning environment for the staff they lead and also support.
Works in conjunction with the Vice President in the identification, development and implementation of new programs, services and projects. Takes administrative call as assigned.
