This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

12-hour weekend night shifts with holidays as scheduled. Weekend nights are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

\n\nJob Description\n

Join our high-impact, fast-paced nursing unit specializing in trauma and general surgery. As a part of our team, you will work collaboratively with care management, surgical and medical services, rehabilitation services, and perioperative services.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide care for a variety of patient conditions including multi-trauma, TBI, fractures, and general surgical cases.

    • \n

  • Administer complex wound care, manage drains and devices, and support respiratory needs for patients with traumatic injuries.

    • \n

  • Maintain patient safety and provide critical care in both step-down and floor environments, ensuring adherence to care protocols.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.

    • \n

  • Current BLS certification is required.

    • \n

  • Experience with complex wound care, chest tubes, drains, and respiratory support.
