Job Description Onsite Services :
- Operations :
- Assist end user and other I&O towers by maintaining remote site infrastructure including PC hardware and software, Servers, and networks.
- Coordinate with the IT Service Desk in how best to handle incident tickets and assist with L1.5 support issues related to end users or local IT PC software installation issues.
- Assists more-senior Local IT , OT and Information Security leaders with reviewing and evaluating business technology needs, security, and systems requirements
- Administration
- Using the SNOW Platform, assist the regional Local IT teams in the managing of tickets, including supporting SLA goals and objectives.
- Keep Local IT Leadership team informed of remote site risks identified.
- Installation and badge reader configuration issues.
- Liaison with the various Local IT support channels for any L3 incident management.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
Hardware and Peripheral Troubleshooting :Diagnosing and resolving issues with desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.Performing basic hardware repairs, component replacements (e.g., RAM, hard drives, PSUs), and upgrades.Experience with different computer manufacturers (e.g., Dell, HP, Apple) and their specific hardware configurations.Operating Systems (OS) and Software :Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting common operating systems, primarily Windows and macOS, and an understanding of Linux is a plus.Expertise in Microsoft 365 and its suite of applications (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Networking Fundamentals :A solid understanding of basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and subnets.Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues (e.g., Wi-Fi problems, wired connections).Familiarity with network hardware like switches, routers, and access points.System and User Administration :Experience with Active Directory or similar user management systems for creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts.Managing user permissions, access rights, and security groups.Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) platforms.IT Security :Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including virus and malware removal, phishing awareness, and password security policies.Experience with antivirus software and firewalls.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with system administration and troubleshooting.
