Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse

Location : Utah\nJob Type : Full-Time / Part-Time\nShift : On-Call (Nights / Weekends)\n\nPosition Overview : \n\nWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving hospice services. You will play a key role in ensuring patients are comfortable, safe, and well-cared-for during the on-call hours. This role involves working nights and weekends to provide support to patients and families during critical moments of care.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Respond to emergency calls for hospice patients during on-call shifts.\n
• Provide direct nursing care and clinical assessments, including symptom management, pain relief, and end-of-life care.\n
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.\n
• Educate patients and families on comfort measures, medications, and end-of-life care procedures.\n
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all interactions and care provided.\n
• Adhere to all hospice care policies, regulations, and industry standards.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah.\n
• Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.\n
• Strong clinical skills, including experience in managing symptoms such as pain, nausea, and anxiety.\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate, empathetic care to patients and their families.\n
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-call environment.\n
