Assistant Project Manager - Construction

Our client is a medium-sized organization operating within the property industry, known for its strong reputation in delivering high-quality construction projects. Job Description

Coordinate and assist in the management of construction projects from initiation to completion. Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and ensure timely delivery. Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates on financial status. Support the preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts and reports. Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to address project needs and issues. Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site. Provide administrative support to the construction team as required. Contribute to resolving any challenges or delays that may arise during project execution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Construction should have :

  • (Preferably) a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ProCore, Revit, etc)
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
