Our highly trained teams provide 24 / 7 industrial cleaning, hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, and specialized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and full turn-key turnaround services. We also manage waste handling, transportation, and disposal in strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Position Overview
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Tampa. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office and assist with various Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) administration functions. The Administrative Assistant will interact professionally with employees at all levels and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Functions
- Process payroll and assist with related documentation
- Communicate with vendors and contractors to coordinate services and resolve issues.
- Schedule and set up appointments as needed
- Order, manage, and organize safety supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Process regulatory documents and maintain accurate records and file management systems.
- Prepare and complete reports for management upon request.
- Perform additional EHS administration duties as assigned.

High school diploma required; bachelors degree preferredProven experience performing clerical or administrative workProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and OutlookKey Skills and Knowledge
Strong knowledge of office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignmentsExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesSuperior written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning capabilitiesPay
