As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Site Patrol - Full Time in Hercules, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license. Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What Youll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
  • Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information or assistance as appropriate, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns using company-provided reporting tools.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid drivers license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
