Job description

Genesis Medical Center Silvis is looking for an OB / GYN to fill their need!

Schedule :

  • Patient Contact Hours : 24 hour in-house hospital coverage (The locums is required to be onsite for 24-hour stretches)
  • Clinic Days : Hospital only
  • Shifts per month : 6-8 shifts per month
  • Shift length : 24 hours
  • Procedure / OR days : As Needed
  • On Call : 24-hours shift

Details :

  • Inpatient Responsibilities : Yes, labor and delivery floor at the Silvis Campus
  • Telehealth : No
  • Services offered in the practice : Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, circumcisions
  • Number of Exam Rooms per provider : N / A (Hospital-based coverage only)
  • Lab & Pharmacy : Yes
  • Clinic Provider Daily Volume : 10-15 triages a day plus deliveries
  • All OB Triages are to be seen by the physician on call.
  • Patient Demographics : Primarily obstetric and gynecologic patients
  • EMR : Cerner

    • Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24-hour in house call coverage on the labor & delivery floor, including management of obstetric patients, deliveries, emergency gynecologic cases and inpatient consultations.

    • Bill Rates Needed for Submission :

  • Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
  • Orientation
  • Hourly ($310 rate cap)
  • Holiday Hourly
  • Overtime
  • Holiday Overtime
  • Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)

    • Travel Reimbursements :

  • Flights - $750 / round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees). No upgraded airfares or seat upgrades
  • Lodging - 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay (to include taxes and fees)
  • Rental Car - $55 / day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV / upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather)
  • Mileage - IRS Standard Rate
  • Please Note : Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.

    • Requirement description :

  • Board Certified in OB / GYN - [REQUIRED]
  • Active IA License or Active IMLC LOQ - [REQUIRED] - please upload LOQ at time of name clear
  • Must be experienced - [REQUIRED]
  • Clean Malpractice / No Background - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] - will review case-by-case
