About The Position

Non-Invasive Cardiology in Western North Carolina

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to practice in the beautiful foothills of Western North Carolina, blending professional growth with a relaxed mountain lifestyle.

  • Collaborative Cardiology Team : Join a supportive program with interventional and non-invasive cardiologists, physician assistants, and a dedicated clinic staff, all working in a well-equipped facility with EPIC EMR
  • Balanced Practice Structure : Enjoy a blend of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding, with typical weeks spent Monday through Friday in clinic (9 am-5 pm), and a very light 1 : 4 call rotation that is primarily phone-based
  • Attractive Compensation Model : Earn a generous base salary plus wRVU bonuses, with comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, vision, malpractice with tail, 403(b) match, CME allowance, tuition assistance, and PSLF eligibility
  • Future Program Growth : Be part of an expanding heart and vascular program with a new cath lab opening in late 2025, offering opportunities to collaborate with interventional colleagues and advanced cardiac rehab services

Candidate Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
  • Fellowship training in Non-Invasive Cardiology
  • Comfortable with stress testing, ambulatory monitors, echocardiography (including TEE), nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT / MRI
  • Eligible for licensure in North Carolina
