The Systems Programmer specializing in Splunk and Dashboarding will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Splunk dashboards and applications to provide actionable insights and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves leveraging in-depth knowledge of Splunk, data analysis, and visualization techniques to translate complex data into intuitive dashboards and reports that meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dashboard Development : Design and implement custom Splunk dashboards and reports, utilizing best practices to ensure usability, performance, and efficiency.
- Data Onboarding : Assist in the onboarding of various data sources into Splunk, ensuring data integrity and optimal indexing.
- Data Analysis : Analyze data patterns and trends to recommend improvements and optimizations for existing processes and systems.
- Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor and optimize the performance of Splunk applications, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and dashboard functionalities.
- Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users and team members on using Splunk dashboards and interpreting data.
- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot issues related to Splunk installations and configurations, and provide timely resolutions.
- Best Practices : Stay updated on new Splunk features and industry best practices to continuously improve systems and processes.
Requirements
Four (4) years of professional experience in relational databases and operating as a Database Administrator (DBA).Experience in relational Database Management Systems (DBMS) design, schema design, database hardware and software design, query languages, and performance tuning of database systems.Programming proficiency (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Java, Scala, C++, Tableau).This position is required to be designated as IAT II level with a T3.Benefits
