Job descriptionThis position has no supervisor responsibilities Associate’s Degree in Accounting, or Finance or related field. High School Diploma with 3 years of accounts receivable experience, in lieu of associates degree and corresponding experience 3+ years of accounts receivable experience Proficient on Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes and Enterprise One accounting software package Occasionally required to walk Continually required to sit, talk or hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and / or use a keyboard Ethics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values. Attendance / Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time. SUMMARY : The Accounts Receivable Specialist II is responsible for the daily processing of bank deposits and outstanding account payments timely and accurately
DUTIES :
- Prepares daily bank deposits; reviews for accuracy
- Applies payments to outstanding invoices daily
- Monitors and maintains accounts receivable aging; escalate past due accounts to account manager for follow up on collection; assist with additional correspondence and collection calls as directed.
- Assist Data Entry Specialist to meet daily deadlines; Serve as back up support for Data Entry Specialist for accounts Receivable entries
- Performs additional duties as assigned and required
