American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Flint, Michigan.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and current BLS for an acute care hospital night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an acute care hospital setting on the PT Acute Care Hospital unit
  • Night shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Floating within scope may be requested as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates are accepted if residing within a 75-mile radius
  • Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
  • Less than 5 days of time off may be requested, including a maximum of 1 holiday
  • All module hours are billable and completed annually via HealthStream
  • Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
  • Travelers may be asked to float to other units within their scope

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Current state physical therapy license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • Must be able to complete assigned annual modules onsite
  • Pending licenses are not accepted
