Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service 4 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) - Must be from the International Certification Commission If no CBET certification at time of hire, must obtain certification within 1-year of hire. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management.
