Job descriptionLead, mentor, and support field technicians to ensure consistent performance, skill development, and adherence to company standards. Work closely with office staff to align schedules, assign jobs, and maximize efficiency of service call routing. Provide advanced troubleshooting guidance and act as a subject matter expert for complex HVAC issues. Monitor fieldwork to ensure compliance with company protocols, safety standards, and client expectations. Maintain and strengthen client relationships by addressing escalated issues with professionalism and urgency. Partner with management to refine service processes, identify training needs, and implement strategies that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Review and manage service-related paperwork, reports, and performance metrics to ensure accuracy and accountability. Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of proven experience in HVAC service, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable. In-depth technical expertise with residential HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repairs. Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of balancing field and administrative responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or coordinating service operations. Valid HVAC certification and a clean driving record required. Why Consider This Role? The Field Manager will play a critical leadership role within the company, overseeing day-to-day HVAC field operations, driving team performance, and ensuring top-tier service delivery to residential clients.
This position requires a strong balance of technical knowledge, team management, and operational oversight.
As the company continues to expand, the Field Manager will be instrumental in shaping service standards, mentoring technicians, and ensuring efficient coordination between the field and the office.
