Welder / Fabricator

Job Description :

Carbon Steel MIG welding and fabrication experience required.

Ability to read structural fabrication / assembly drawings required.

Stainless Steel structural welding, CS & SS pipe welding, and general millwright experience preferred but not required.

Normal Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret shop fabrication drawings
• Work with other fabricators to weld structural baseplates for pumps and other rotating equipment.
• Cut structural steel and piping for jobs with band saw as necessary.
• Be able to use drill press, mag drill, welding equipment, painting equipment, and other standard fabrication shop equipment.
• Assist in assembling pumps and rotating equipment on baseplates
• Be able to lift normal objects located within a fabrication shop
• Be able to use forklift

Keep fabrication shop area clean and safe and care for provided tools and equipment.
