The Senior Director of Data Management and Strategy will report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and is a critical executive technology leadership role within the organization. This position is instrumental in driving the strategic use of data to achieve organization goals and enhance business performance within the healthcare sector. This role will be responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing comprehensive data strategies that leverage advanced analytics and intelligent data management practices while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities include :
- Data Strategy Development : Formulate and execute a robust data strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and healthcare industry standards.
- Governance and Compliance : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Healthcare Data Security : Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive healthcare information.
- Advanced Analytics and BI : Lead initiatives to expand the use of advanced analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Data Infrastructure Management : Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architecture and infrastructure tailored to healthcare applications.
- Talent Management : Build and manage a high-performing data team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other senior leaders to integrate data-driven approaches into all aspects of the healthcare business.
- Technology and Vendor Management : Evaluate and implement cutting-edge data technologies and tools suitable for healthcare environments.
- Performance Measurement : Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule : - Hybrid
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred, particularly in Data Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in data management, analytics, and technology roles.Extensive experience in the healthcare sector is ideal.Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategies.Expertise in advanced analytics, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI.Proficiency in business intelligence tools and platforms.Strong understanding of data architecture and infrastructure design tailored for healthcare applications.In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations.Proven ability to lead and manage a high-performing data team.Ability to formulate and execute data strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience evaluating and implementing cutting-edge data technologies.Ability to develop and track key performance indicators.Additional Certifications (preferred but not mandatory) :
Certifications in data management or analytics.Healthcare-specific certifications.The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, strategic vision, and exceptional leadership skills to drive data strategy and innovation within the organization, positioning it as a leader in the Specialty Pharmacy healthcare sector.
