Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) for a community hospital in Auburn, New York . This facility is a 90-bed hospital with a busy orthopedic service line, and the OR unit frequently handles high-acuity orthopedic cases. Ideal candidates are skilled, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities :

Assist in surgical procedures in collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff

Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, including Olympus and Stryker systems

Ensure patient safety and proper surgical protocol

Document procedures in Paragon charting system

Work closely with RN staff, often on a 1 : 1 basis for patient care

Requirements :

Certified OR Technician (CST / Certified preferred)

Minimum 2 years OR experience

Orthopedic OR experience required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Travel experience preferred

Flexibility for on-call coverage
