Role Overview
JP Cullen is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team and play a key leadership role in planning, executing, and delivering construction projects of all sizes — including high-value, high-visibility builds.
This position requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of construction operations, client service, and project execution. From initial estimates through to final delivery, the Project Manager will ensure that every milestone is met on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of over 30 construction projects annually while supporting the estimating and quoting of 150+ opportunities.Manage projects with contract values up to $30 million and oversee subcontracts and purchase orders up to $5 million each.Maintain accurate schedules and ensure on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects.Guide high-performing project teams, including site engineers, superintendents, and foremen, toward achieving financial and operational success.Serve as the primary point of coordination for clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.Manage the entire project lifecycle — including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.Oversee change orders, progress meetings, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and alignment.Ensure a positive working environment that fosters collaboration, accountability, and exceptional customer service.Provide hands-on technical guidance to resolve challenges and ensure project compliance with design and performance standards.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or completion of a relevant apprenticeship program combined with 2–4 years of field and managerial experience; alternatively, 6–8+ years of progressive experience in a construction-related position.Strong financial and contractual acumen, with the ability to manage complex scopes and budgets.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and drive team performance.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required.A track record of delivering high-value projects with integrity, efficiency, and innovation.Compensation & Benefits
