What We Need:

Do you enjoy direct sales and are happiest when you are meeting with clients? Are you an experienced sales executive who loves listening to News/Talk radio and podcasts? Is your favorite sport politics? Do you enjoy Bill Handel, John Kobylt, Tim Conway Jr as well as National hosts like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck? Have you worked with CEOs, Presidents and Business Owners and have you worked with them to help their business grow?

If so, there may be a place for you at iHeart Media Los Angeles. We are looking for talented and motivated sales pros to sell our talk brands in Los Angeles, including KFI 640 and AM 1150 The Patriot. This is a new business development position, and the ideal candidate is ready to hit the ground running and will successfully take advantage of all iHeart's platforms to exceed their clients' expectations.

What You'll Do:

As an Account Executive at iHeart, you'll identify and develop new business opportunities through in-person meetings with clients and research, consistent daily cold-calling, and cultivate existing business. You will collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue, create effective marketing campaigns, and use your storytelling skills to deliver compelling sales presentations fueled by data to best meet your clients' expectations.

What You'll Need:

* You should be self-motivated (a very "go-getter" attitude!), have excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills, and communicate persuasively. When people describe you, goal-oriented, expert negotiator and proactive should be at the top of the list.

* You should be able to plan and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

* Comfortable with cold-calling and initiating outreach to prospective clients as part of lead generation efforts.

* A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a High School Diploma (College Degree preferred) are required.

* You should also be skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft Office and social networking platforms.

* Strong problem-solving skills; by exercising these skills, you help business grow to the fullest potential.

* Digital/Media Sales experience are a plus but not required.

* The natural ability to organize and prioritize day-to-day depending on where the biggest priorities may be

* Additional nice-to-haves include experience managing complex, multi-platform campaigns, analytics experience, iHeart and/or audio advertising background, and are well-connected in the market.

Compensation:

This position will be paid on a 100% commission basis. Commission rates range from 4.0%-11.0%.
