Duties
- Provide exceptional customer support to both local and international colocation clients, handling requests via a web-based ticketing system for services like access requests, equipment troubleshooting, and order processing.
- Perform regular facility walkthroughs, inspecting critical electrical and mechanical equipment, and logging readings to ensure proper operation and facility conditions.
- Support customer deployments and facility expansions, including executing sales orders, preparing new customer environments, and assisting with rack & stack tasks.
- Assist with physical security monitoring, managing access control, and handling client deliveries, including receiving, storing, and shipping packages.
- Maintain detailed records of all facility activities, including incident logs, inventory management, and maintenance events, while ensuring professional, ethical interactions with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
Requirements
High School Diploma required; 2 years of experience in data centers or a related technical field. Industry certifications or an associate degree in a technical area are preferred.Basic understanding of data center cooling and power systems is a plus.2 years of experience in customer service, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite, with a commitment to maintaining a safety-first approach in all tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.1st ShiftPay : $24 - $26 Hourly
