As a Manufacturing / Assembly Technician, you will work in a team-oriented environment on the production floor, focusing on assembly, fabrication, or other production areas while ensuring safety, quality, and standard work protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Support work area safety, cleanliness, material usage, and shop organization.
• Perform production assembly work, rework, troubleshooting, in-process repair, and documentation of assembly improvements.
• Conduct equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Regularly assemble pipe fittings and perform additional sub-assembly and final-assembly mechanical tasks.
• Document results during and post-engineering development builds in a clear and concise manner.

Work Environment

This position offers two shift options : 1st shift from 7am-4pm and 2nd shift from 3pm-11 : 30pm, both with potential overtime including weekends. The work environment includes a climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly facility, with climate-controlled offices and break room. Please note that the facility may be warm during summer months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
