As a vital member within our Northwest Bridge Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex bridge projects throughout the Northwest, and nationwide. Our transportation projects include traditional design-bid-build projects as well as alternative delivery such as Design-Build (DB), Progress Design-Build (PDB), Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM / GC), Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR), and Public-Private-Partnership (P3) projects. Working with our talented team, you’ll work to solve problems and challenges in a team environment where everyone is valued. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will lead bridge projects of various size and complexity with a particular focus on segmental, cable-stayed and complex bridges. This position can be done from almost any of our Western US offices including Bellevue, WA, Seattle, WA, Boise, ID, Portland, OR Denver, CO, Irvine, CA, Sacramento, CA and more.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE registration Washington or the possibility of obtaining Washington PE registration within one year
• At least 15 years’ bridge engineering experience including substantial complex bridge design and construction
• Experience on large, multidisciplinary bridge design projects
• Experience with various structure types including precast concrete girders, segmental bridges, and other complex bridges.
• Project management and leadership experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of technical standards for bridge design, construction, and maintenance including AASHTO LRFD and state-specific guidelines
• Familiarity with FHWA requirements and guidelines
• Ability and willingness to travel on occasion
