Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LVN Nurse to join our team as a CNA Instructor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to preparing the next generation of Certified Nursing Assistants.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver comprehensive CNA training programs in accordance with state regulations.
- Evaluate student performance through practical and written exams, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high-quality educational experience.
- Stay current with the latest nursing best practices and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students.
Qualifications :
Active LVN license in CaliforniaAt least 2 years of nursing experience (RN or LVN), with 1 year in a long-term care, acute care, home care, or similar settingPLUS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING :1 year of experience teaching or planning nursing education programs, OR24 hours of approved continuing education in nursing education (to be completed within 6 months of hire)Strong understanding of CNA duties and training requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDirector of Staff Development (DSD) CertificatePreferred :
