About this role :

As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon you’ll work with a team of CT Surgeons to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you’ll collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, OR support, as well as Clinic and Inpatient support.

We’re the primary referral center for western Colorado and eastern Utah

34 bed open ICU with 12 beds dedicated to cardiac patients

Brand new, state-of-the-art Heart and Vascular Center with 2 Hybrid ORs

Experience in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, preferred

Experience in endovascular procedures like TEVAR, preferred

Compensation :

Annual Base Salary : $925,000.00

wRVU Bonus : $85.00 per wRVU over 10,500

Call : 1 : 3 included in base, excess call $1700 / 24hr shift

Annual CME allowance : $5000.00

What you’ll bring :

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited allopathic or osteopathic school of medicine

Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Graduated Fellows and experienced surgeons are welcome to apply

Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

BLS certification and DEA

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
