The Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) Site Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the security operations of construction sites, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, property, and information. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating security protocols, and managing security personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive security plans for construction sites, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of surveillance systems, conducting regular security audits and risk assessments, coordinating with project managers and contractors, managing and supervising security personnel, responding to security incidents and emergencies, maintaining detailed records of security activities, recruiting, training, and supervising a team of security officers, conducting regular performance evaluations, developing and implementing training programs, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, preparing and submitting regular reports on security activities, incidents, and compliance status, staying updated on industry trends and best practices, collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders, communicating effectively with clients, and participating in meetings and briefings with project teams.
