Physician-Anesthesiology -PRN role at Ascension. Location : Anderson, Indiana. Practice detail : Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent is seeking a PRN anesthesiologist for our group in Suburban Indianapolis. EMR System : IPRO. Facility : Ascension St Vincent Anderson.

Responsibilities

• CRNA medical supervision model
• Unrestricted call with 30 minute response time
• Bread & butter cases
• No cardiac
• No neonatal
• Includes OB
• Includes Orthopedic cases
• Main OR and ASC coverage
• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills; coordinate discharge planning with case management
• Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care
• Accept patient referrals from other physicians; act as admitting, attending and / or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses
• Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested
• Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance requirements; appeal denials in a timely manner
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules
