Manufacturing Bill Of Material Specialist
With the CFO create and update manufacturing bills of material (BOMs) for EDJY products including periodic updates for changes in materials, suppliers, costs, and various usage and scrap rate changes. Periodically compare and analyze standard to actual production, labor and overhead costs, coordinating changes thereto with the CFO. Coordinating with the CFO to ensure accurate classification of manufacturing facility expenses under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Organize and participate in physical inventory counts, summarizing results for mgmt. Investigate discrepancies in financial records and perform month-end close activities as directed by the CFO, including journal entries and reconciliations. Other functions and tasks assigned by the CFO. Prepare, distribute and monitor stand alone and blanket Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely supply & resupply of materials based on supplier & consultant quotes & proposals always in close coordination with the VP of Manufacturing and Distribution (VP-M&D), CFO, and director of R&D. Maintain close contact with suppliers to adjust delivery schedules as necessary. Authorize vendor payments and maintain purchasing and inventories records. Recommend primary supply purchases, and alternatives supply options to reduce costs, improve quality or stabilize the supply chain. Other functions and tasks assigned by the VP-M&D or CFO.
Additional Skills & Qualifications : A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or operations or equivalent experience in an accounting and / or purchasing role. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on data analysis. Strong skills in Excel and prior experience with NetSuite ERP helpful. Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
