Overview
Service Account Manager - ITR at GE Vernova. GE Vernova's mission is to electrify the world while helping decarbonize it. The role is part of the Steam Power Fossil West ITR team and involves managing Steam / Generator customer relationships for accounts in the Western US, delivering orders, commitments, sales, cash and margin operating plans for the accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact to the customer and maintain ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage the customer portfolio P&L and drive growth; support opportunity development and project pre-planning and mobilization in the West region portfolio.
- Outage scope planning and execution, including closeout oversight, parts and repairs planning; establish work scope and pricing; drive emergent work for major repair projects.
- Interface with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, sourcing, affiliates, parts, repairs) and coordinate with Inventory Management, Repair Managers, Parts Fulfillment Leaders, and engineering to enhance outage planning.
- Oversee transactional (TX), Extra Work and Job Cost Estimator (JCE) proposals; negotiate concessions balancing customer benefits with GE profitability.
- Drive excellence in EHS, quality, schedule, productivity and cost at assigned customer sites; manage daily outage activities as an advocate for outage management.
- Drive long-term strategic plans by customer to penetrate and grow; monitor and develop the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities.
- Lead deal strategy development and reviews with Commercial Operations; interface with Product Management, Customer Fulfillment Manager, Parts Fulfillment Leaders, Project Managers, and other teams as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer strategy, outage schedules and competitor actions; provide demand forecasting and pacing support to Sales Operations / Finance.
- Travel 50% of the time as required.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power Generation IndustryMinimum of 5 years in a customer-facing role in power generation or similar industryMinimum of 5 years of experience with GE Steam Turbines and Generator technology products and servicesDesired Qualifications

Salary range : $119,600 to $199,400 USD annual. The specific salary offered depends on experience, education, and work location. Eligible for a 15% performance bonus. Geographic differentials of 110%, 120% or 130% may apply in certain areas.
