Location : Keyser, West Virginia 26726 (WV nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Operating Room (OR) & Same Day Surgery

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 10 / 2025 – End : 1 / 9 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : 8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday

Call Requirement : On-call 1 week and 1 weekend per month (1-hour response time)

Charting System : Epic EMR

Orientation : 2–3 shifts with a preceptor

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1980–$2120

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience

Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state; willing to wait for license submission)

BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required

PALS (AHA) preferred

NIHSS certification required

Ability to float to pre-op and post-op areas as needed

Experience with Epic EMR preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective nursing care for patients undergoing same day and general surgery procedures

Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments and interventions

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Participate in on-call rotation and respond within required time frame

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR

Support sterile processing and infection control standards in the operating room

Assist with a variety of surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, pain injections, and occasional GYN procedures

Scrubbing experience is a plus, but not required
