About The Position

Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Location : York, PA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Job Responsibilities :

Assist in surgical procedures specializing in Ortho, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotics.

Maintain aseptic technique and manage surgical instruments and equipment.

Support general operating room functions including patient preparation, positioning, and intraoperative care.

Participate in emergency and trauma-level surgeries at a Level I Trauma Center.

Participate in call rotation (4–6 calls within a 6-week matrix; 30-minute response time required).

Provide weekend coverage (4–6 shifts within a 6-week matrix, including days / evenings / nights).

Demonstrate competency in EPIC charting and documentation.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection prevention practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA

BLS certification

Minimum 2 years of OR experience (post-orientation)

Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic, and Orthopedic surgical experience

Level I Trauma experience required

EPIC charting system experience required

Teaching hospital experience preferred

1 : 1 patient ratio experience
