A day in this role
Start your morning by opening the counter, greeting walk-in customers and answering quick product questions. As orders come in, you look up parts, present options, and process sales accurately. You count cash, issue receipts, and keep documentation tidy and compliant. Throughout the day, you jump between assisting contractors, supporting inside sales calls, updating records in Microsoft Office, and keeping the counter organized. You lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds as inventory arrives, all while staying calm in a fast-paced environment and communicating clearly with every customer.

- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.–5 : 00 p.m.
- Pay range : $18.00–$19.76 per hour
What you’ll handle
Serve customers at the parts counter with professionalism and care.Recommend products and close sales for walk-ins and phone inquiries.Perform accurate cash handling and reconcile transactions.Complete administrative and documentation procedures with precision.Use Microsoft Office (MS Suite) confidently for quotes, records, and communication.Adapt to changing priorities and juggle multiple tasks without losing detail.Regularly lift and move items up to 50 lbs.What you bring
Deep understanding of customer service ethics, principles, and procedures.Valid driver’s license or government-issued identification card.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Proven cash handling experience.Proficiency in administrative processes and documentation.Comfort working on a computer; familiarity with MS Suite required.High level of organization and attention to detail.Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.Bonus : Background with janitorial, big-box retail, restoration, remediation, carpet cleaning, or installation products / companies.Core proficiencies
