Shift Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor supports the MDA Security and Emergency Management Directorate (DSS) in managing Security Operations Services at MDA facilities located throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises management and hourly staff to ensure access control, visitor support, and alarm response and dispatch operations are being executed in full compliance with contract requirements.
• Works in collaboration with the site Operations Managers, and Shift Supervisors to ensure all contract obligations are met.
• Supervises Security Control Center operations to include Access Control / Response / Circulation Enforcement, Badge Administration, and Common Access Card Administration.
• Ensure all security personnel are professionally trained and capable of conducting primary duties.
• Provide first response & assessment of emergency situations (Red Cross first aid, Adult CPR, external defibrillator (AED) certifications)
• Conduct security inspections, respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and aid as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must know of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
