Job Description Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through continuous monitoring and assessment of patients' cardiac and vital signs. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a travel position at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor and assess patients' cardiac and vital signs using telemetry equipment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions. Required Qualifications: RN license BLS certification Experience with Medical Telemetry Preferred Qualifications: BSN Leadership experience Charge Nurse experience CMSRN certification Skills & Competencies: Clinical assessment skills Telemetry monitoring expertise Medication administration Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation (Cerner preferred) Communication and interpersonal skills Teamwork and collaboration Critical thinking and problem-solving Shift Details: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shift on night shift). Licensing Requirements: RN License
