As a leading community health center in the Pacific Northwest, we operate over 40 clinics throughout Washington and Oregon, providing a diverse range of services that include medical, dental, and behavioral health care, as well as nutritional counseling and support for various social needs.
Position Highlights :
- Competitive pay range of $22.29-$32.83 / hour based on experience.
- Additional compensation for bilingual skills.
- Flexible 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and update patient medical records, including vital signs and treatment summaries.Prepare for patient visits by reviewing files and collaborating with Providers for effective scheduling.Ensure a welcoming and efficient exam room environment while providing patient education and support.Collect and prepare lab specimens and administer medications as assigned.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED is required.Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with at least 720 training hours, including a 160-hour clinical externship.One year of experience as a CMA is preferred.CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire.Must possess Medical Assistant Certification or interim certification from the WA State Department of Health.Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills at a level of 10 are preferred.Strong medical knowledge and excellent communication skills are essential.Ability to multitask and manage varied workloads efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Epic, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).Our Mission :
