The nurse will be responsible for patient care in a critical setting. The nurse will work night shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts. Patient care ratios will be 1 nurse for every 2 patients. The role involves managing a variety of complex medical conditions. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in various procedures such as arterial line management and care of ventilated patients. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. The candidate should also have experience with blood product administration and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. The nurse may be required to float to similar units within the facility. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. The nurse should be willing to work during major holidays. References from previous supervisory roles covering recent work experience will be required. The candidate must comply with hospital policies and procedures. Additional competencies in infection prevention and isolation precautions are essential for this role.
