Your role within the company:

As the Senior Cloud Architect you will be responsible for architecting global solutions that streamline access and use of cloud resources while consolidating IT infrastructure, automating workloads, and pursuing next generation innovation. In this role you will remain hands-on while providing technical leadership. you must have experience bringing a company through on-prem to cloud while serving as the Subject Matter Expert. This company is currently 10-15% on Azure now with the goal to be 90% on Azure!

The Senior Cloud Architect needs to bring clarity to complexity and demonstrate smart ways to simplify. This role requires a leader and mentor, have a firm grasp of data center infrastructure systems, implementation of large scale projects to the cloud. You must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, invent and simplify processes, and simultaneously support multiple projects impacting a growing global organization.

Expected skills to be considered:

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Experience with large on-prem to Cloud initiatives
• Expertise with cloud architecture including designing, implementing, and managing workloads in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud-based platforms
• Expertise in Windows O/S, VMWare, Microsoft Azure, SaaS, Hyper-V, PowerShell
• Expertise with data center infrastructure systems (Active Directory, networking, SAN), database architecture, big data, & machine learning
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture
• Excellent communication skills
