Maintenance Specialist

Our Maintenance Specialist is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in the operation of the facility as it relates to its maintenance, repairs, cleaning, modifications, construction projects and their completion in a timely, safe, and fiscally responsible manner.

Your role in caring for our company :

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Responsible for building and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
• Verify proper operation of facilities systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs by following instruction and utilizing operations manuals.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with ensuring contract services work meets specified results to minimize future operational problems; includes inspecting completed work and reporting failure to meet contract specifications.
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections on eMaint.
• Diagnose maintenance, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and facility design modifications.
• Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees.
• Perform other duties such as taking out municipal trash / recycling.
• Perform facility related tasks specific to irrigation, and cultivation equipment.
• Periodically verify fire extinguishers and other safety equipment that are within approved dates and replace units when needed.

All other duties as necessary.
