Substitute Instructional Aide

Location : North Brunswick, NJ 08902

Compensation : $19 / h – 1099 Independent Contractor

We are seeking reliable Substitute Instructional Aides to support teachers and students across the district. Instructional aides assist with classroom activities, provide academic support, and help maintain a positive learning environment when regular aides are unavailable.

Qualifications :

Minimum 60 college credits OR successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment Test

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to assist teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision

Must pass required criminal history background check

Responsibilities :

Assist classroom teachers with lesson delivery and student activities

Support individual or small groups of students as needed

Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe classroom environment

Help with instructional materials, classroom setup, and administrative tasks

Report progress or concerns to teachers and school staff

Perform other duties as assigned
