Our team has over 300 years combined experience in selling and installing appliances, and we operate two showrooms in Houston and Austin to educate and inspire the area's top builders, remodelers, designers, architects, and their clients.
Our selection, expertise, and customer service have made K&N a trusted partner for thousands of customers for over 70 years, and we are looking to grow our sales team in Austin!
Position Overview :
As a Lead Sales Associate, you will serve as both a team leader and a high-performing salesperson. You’ll be responsible for providing guidance to the sales team, addressing escalated customer issues, and contributing to the success of the showroom by driving your own sales performance. This hybrid leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and customer-facing roles, is goal-oriented, and passionate about producing results.

Sales Leadership
- Lead by example—actively engage customers, demonstrate expert product knowledge, and close sales.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of sales staff.
- Act as a liaison between management and the sales floor to ensure smooth operations and communication.
- Support the sales team by providing leadership in solving multi-faceted customer issues.
- Provide on-the-floor guidance and support to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience.
Personal Sales
Engage and build relationships with customers in our 7,000 sq. ft. showroom.Develop a personal book of business through outreach, referrals, and exceptional customer service.Identify customer needs and recommend solutions across a wide range of indoor and outdoor luxury appliances.Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.Maintain thorough follow-up with customers pre- and post-sale.Qualifications :
Proven track record in sales, ideally in appliances, luxury home goods, or similar retail sectors.Prior experience in a leadership or management role within a retail sales environment.A customer-first mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Tech-savvy and proficient with CRM and POS systems.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends and holidays.Self-starter who thrives on achieving goals and earning commissions.
