Oregon Allergy Associates is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is experienced, fast-paced, driven, and highly team-oriented. Competitive pay : $21-$26 / hour, depending on experience

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring seamless patient care. Your responsibilities will include :

• Room patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and allergy / asthma updates.
• Accurately document in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and testing.
• Manage clinical tasks including prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription support.
• Contribute to daily team flow, supporting both patients and fellow staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant

Active Medical Assistant Certification

Proficiency with electronic health records

Strong communication skills & self-starter personality

Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers

Passionate about patient care

BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and prior authorizations.
