Job Summary and Qualifications As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath Lab registered nurse you will provide assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. You will be part of a team that pulls together to provide a quality patient care experience. We are seeking passionate individuals who are ready to take their career to the next level! In this role : You will be responsible for all testing and interventional procedures that take place in the Cath lab. These procedures include but are not limited to cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, cardiac rhythm device implants, IVC filters, balloon pump, impella, pericardiocentesis, aortic aneurysm repair, electrophysiology, structural heart, and performing moderate procedural sedation. You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care. You will perform appropriate SBAR processes for hand-off communication. You will assist through all aspects of the procedure, including pre and post transport, site preparation, sterile procedure techniques, patient monitoring, and procedural site hemostasis. You will manage emergent cases. You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records and complete all paperwork associated with these procedures. What qualifications you will need : Current State of Idaho RN license in good standing Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire Benefits Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
