Job Title : Senior Medical Coder – Urology Location : Must reside in TX, LA, AR, GA, or NM | Remote-US Compensation & Schedule :

• $35 / hour (Non-Certified), $39 / hour (Certified)
• Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (1-hour meal break)
• W2, Temp-to-Hire
• Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 ROLE IMPACT This role ensures precise coding for urology-related inpatient and outpatient services, directly influencing revenue cycle integrity and compliance. Success is defined by consistent coding accuracy, collaborative documentation review, and minimizing claim denials. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform compliant coding of inpatient and outpatient urology services using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT
• Review and abstract physician documentation into the EMR system
• Ensure documentation meets billing, reporting, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with HIM and Clinical Documentation teams to resolve coding queries
• Complete assignments and special projects as directed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years’ coding experience in surgical and office-based urology
• Current AAPC or AHIMA certification required (CVC or CGSC preferred)
• Must reside in TX, LA, AR, GA, or NM
• Online certification verification must be provided CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• EMR platforms
• ICD-10-CM / ICD-10-PCS / CPT
• Coding audit tools PREFERRED SKILLS
• 95%+ audit accuracy in recent coding roles
• Experience in high-volume healthcare environments
