About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

License : Active state license required
Certifications : BLS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Must-Have :
Experience in a large critical care facility (300 beds or more)
Critical care experience
No prior employment with the specified facility within the past year
Preference for RRT over CRT
Description :
The role involves caring for general medical, intermediate, and ICU patients.
The therapist will provide approximately 26-28 treatments per day using the AARC point system.
Primary ventilators used include Servo U, Servo i, and LTV.
Bipap and Cpap devices are primarily ResMed S9, with Fisher Paykel for heated high flow.
A team lead is available on each shift to serve as a resource without taking an assignment.
Hospitalists and intensivists are onsite 24 / 7.
Shifts scheduled for every other weekend and every other holiday.
No call or standby call requirements.
There is no floating within the department.
Any color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs are not provided.
The first 12 hours will include department-specific orientation, followed by training with a preceptor over the next two shifts.
