Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embryologist to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of embryology, demonstrate exceptional technical and leadership abilities, and maintain the highest standards of laboratory performance. This role requires self-motivation, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee advanced embryology procedures, including :
- Oocyte retrieval handling
- Embryo transfer support
- ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)
- Oocyte stripping
- Embryo freezing and thawing (vitrification / warming)
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and strict quality control across all laboratory operations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior embryologists and laboratory staff.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, FDA, etc.).
- Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory protocols and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
- Identify and resolve technical or procedural issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s degree in Reproductive Biology, Clinical Embryology, or a related field (required).Minimum of 5 years of hands-on embryology experience in a high-volume IVF laboratory.Advanced proficiency in oocyte retrieval handling, transfers, ICSI, oocyte stripping, embryo freezing, and thawing.Comprehensive knowledge of embryology lab equipment, culture systems, and best practices.Proven leadership experience and ability to train and guide laboratory staff (preferred).Self-motivated, responsible, and committed to patient-centered care and laboratory excellence.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Attributes
